Over the last two weeks I have grilled out 9 of 14 days on my Kamado Joe. When the grill is going, there is always a frosty cold beverage close by.
I did manage to work in a quick overnighter camping and fishing trip. And we did cook over an open campfire. So I guess I really did cook out 10 of the 14 days, just one of the those days was not at the grill.
Craft Beer Merit Badge III
The other days were spent working late or it was raining too hard to get things going. A worthy goal might be to get as many consecutive days outside with the grill as possible?
So what came from the beer fridge this time?
Williamsburg Alewerks, Red Marker Ale, $8.99 for 6 cold refreshing bottles
Devils Backbone Brewing Company, 8 Point IPA, had this on tap at $5.25 a glass for non-happy hour prices. Sorry, no pictures, sigh …
Goose Island Brewery, Goose IPA, $8.99 for 6 cold refreshing bottles
All of these were awesome beverages and are in my “Yes, — I would buy it again” category.
It is getting harder to find local craft brews from the big name grocery emporiums.
Three merit badges so far. What have you tried?
