Time to whip up another batch of my healthy homemade dog treats for my furry four-legged BFFs. Their Treat Jar is running on empty and they are upset!

They really like the beef jerky treats that I make for them. It is one of their favorites; actually, nearly everything is their favorite!

Making your own healthy homemade dog treats is really easy to do and does not take long at all. All you need is a dehydrator. Unlike the dog treats found in the big-box stores, these treats do not have any additives that might have come from that grade school chemistry set. As I have gone down my own Paleo Diet road, it was only natural that these paleo ideas extend to the BFFs.

Think of it this way, without a goal, you are like a message in a bottle, just floating about with no direction or destination. A goal can be thought of as a desired result of something you what to have, to become, or to experience.

Think of it this way, with a goal, you are like a message in a bottle, just floating about with no direction or destination. A goal can be thought of as a desired result of something you what to have, to become, or to experience.

I was recently able to complete one of my own personal goals, –paddling the entire length of Virginia‚Äôs James River. The James is one of the longest rivers in America that begins and ends in the same state. I did this with my friend Scott; we completed the final leg of our expedition on October 26, 2014, navigating all passable sections of the 340-mile river from the Allegheny Mountains to the Chesapeake Bay.
